I was a finalist at Kenya’s most prestigious journalism awards, The Annual Journalism Excellence Awards 2021 #AJEA2021 under the COVID-19 Reporting Print Award.
I won the 2018 African Climate Change and Environmental Reporting Award (Print Category) from the Pan African Climate Justice Alliance.
I was shortlisted for the 2018 Best African fact-check of the year by the largest fact-checking organization in Africa, AfricaCheck.

I have 6 years of experience as a data journalist and fact-checker I have written for Quartz Africa, The Star Kenya, openDemocracy, The Continent and more.
Communication
I have managed organizational communications for various non-profit organizations both in Kenya and in Europe.

I have been part of a couple of professional fellowships - short-term work opportunities that allowed me to produce exceptional work outside of my regular job(s).
