Happy new year!

This year I am adding a service to beef up the work I do on this blog. From today, you can consult with me personally on your CVs and applications to international universities.

I’ve been accepted to international universities a total of 4 times so I know a thing or two. How, you may ask? I’ve been accepted into the Erasmus Mundus Journalism program twice — once without a scholarship and once with a scholarship. I’ve also been accepted to Columbia University’s Journalism Master’s program without a scholarship and to their ‘Python for Data Journalists’ Certificate program.

Above and beyond that, I’ve traveled over the last decade or so to conferences, fellowships and numerous opportunities abroad.

Of course consultation with me does not guarantee anything but I’d like to help you hone your application package to a finer level that could possibly increase your chances at getting that coveted acceptance letter.

You can head over to this page to see the affordable pricing for the different packages I offer.

I’ve helped a couple of people over the years who had a good experience with the consultation I provided.

Radha from India said, “Soila's tips were straight forward and specific, which gave me a much clearer picture of the application process. She was of great help to me when curating my reflections and CV to tailor it to the Erasmus Mundus program.”

Kelvin from Kenya said, “I wouldn't have been able to maneuver through the Erasmus Mundus scholarship application without Soila's help. With her assistance I made tremendous progress on my application package.”

Head on over to this page to see what other people from around the world had to say about their experience with me and to book your session if you need help, whether now or in the future. Investing in this once can set you up for life with any future applications you will embark on.

And fret not! I will continue with the free content on this blog. I’m also going to add perspectives from other jet-setters on their journeys to study and work abroad in different countries and in different careers. I’ll do this through guest posts on this blog, Q&A’s, IG Lives and much more.

I’ll also occasionally (very occasionally) post advice through YouTube videos. You can check out the first one below which is about something I’ve talked about on this blog before. Subscribe while you’re there to be notified the next time I post.

See you next time!
