Welcome to my small corner of the internet.

Have you ever come across opportunities such as scholarships, conferences, research fellowships and grants being offered by all sorts of organizations? I know you have. I get such offers forwarded to me on WhatsApp every day. The World Bank is offering summer internships to Graduate students during their summer break. The Obamas are funding ten young people to continue their higher education in a university in the USA. You know the like.

This blog section will be largely dedicated towards sharing the knowledge I’ve gained over the last 7 odd years in preparing, applying and successfully being accepted for these opportunities - I’ve figured out how to get people to pay me to travel to speak at conferences, carry out training, take part in internships, fellowships and a scholarship. As a result, a few people ask me questions related to this topic every now and then, and I figured even if I can help one person, it’s worth it to put this knowledge out there. I don’t have any perfect formulars and I’m still on my journey as well, but we can keep figuring this out together.

Dealing with imposter syndrome, overcoming disappointments, writing a good cover letter; I’ll share my experience with all these and more in hopes that you can find your groove and get out there and get those acceptance letters. It doesn’t matter what field you’re in or how old you are, there are several opportunities to go around!
